Master of Critical Care Paramedicine
If you are an existing and experienced paramedic, you are encouraged to apply for the Master of Critical Care Paramedicine. As a registered paramedic, it offers the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills to enable you to practice at an advanced level. This course is designed to provide you with the necessary education and training for a critical care paramedic role as well as prepare you for leadership, education and research positions. The course fosters the integration of reflection, professionalism, leadership, teamwork, interpersonal communication, and patient focused care at an advanced level into all areas of clinical practice. Students are required to have: A Bachelor of Paramedicine (or equivalent) with at least a pass (50%)average or qualifications and experience approved by the faculty Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)or equivalent accredited professional registration body. AND A minimum of two years of full-time equivalent relevant clinical experience in paramedic practice at the time of commencement of the course.
