Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology (Level 8)

The PGDIT provides a first step into postgraduate study for students who wish to pursue a research-oriented academic career, or who wish to enter the IT industry at a higher-than entry-level position. It does this by equipping students with the advanced technical skills, or the skills in independent research, that are required to succeed in either of these career paths. These technical and research skills are reinforced by the structure and aims of each of the three specialist topics that are available: Software Development; Information Systems; and Networks and Security.
