If you are new to the field of Science, the UNE Diploma in Science is a one-year full-time (or part-time equivalent) course designed to build scientific literacy and foundational skills and knowledge in a range of scientific disciplines. You will graduate from this course with a broad scientific background, communication skills and problem-solving skills to assist with further study and future employment. The Diploma in Science offers both guidance and flexibility. You can choose to study a Focus Area that aligns with your interests and goals, or design your own program of study using the General Studies pathway, in consultation with academic staff.
