Admission to this course is on the basis of the following criteria: - A medical degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; - Current medical registration in an Australian or New Zealand jurisdiction; - Current employment as a medical practitioner in and Australian or New Zealand hospital. Admission may also be subject to satisfactory interview with Program Director. This course is not available to student visa holders or to international students to study offshore. International students in Australia on other visas with study rights may apply. Credit for previous study For more information about the University’s credit policy, please see the Credit for Previous Studies page. Admission to this course is on the basis of the following criteria: - A medical degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or - successful completion of the requirements of the embedded Graduate Certificate in Surgery or Graduate Certificate in Surgical Sciences; and - Current medical registration in an Australian or New Zealand jurisdiction. Planning reference: missing 2027 requirements use the latest published requirements from 2026; newer explicit 2027 requirements take precedence.
