Course overview
A Bachelor of Health Science (Dermal Therapies) gives you the skills and knowledge to work in skin health and anti-ageing treatments. Students will gain hands-on experience with advanced skincare techniques and the latest dermal technologies, including microdermabrasion, microneedling, chemical peels, LED therapy, IPL, laser, radiofrequency, ultrasound, and cryolipolysis, preparing them to deliver safe, evidence-based treatments for a range of skin and body conditions. The degree also develops your understanding of dermal therapy principles, innovations, and professional practice, backed by a foundation in health science and biology. You’ll gain practical experience in our student-led clinic on the Brisbane campus, where you’ll treat real clients and build the confidence to start your career in this exciting field.
