Our connected world is facing a growing set of intersecting challenges – from escalating climate change and recurring pandemics to shifting geopolitical alliances and emerging technologies. As the landscape evolves, new opportunities arise, and those who can respond to complexity with a global, cross-disciplinary mindset are in demand. Now more than ever, the world needs thinkers who see the bigger picture – and have the insight, foresight and agility to drive meaningful change. In the Bachelor of International Studies, you’ll collaborate with changemakers, research experts and global communities to co-create practical responses to emerging global needs. You’ll explore the political, social and economic drivers of change, and develop your own adaptive toolkit – blending cultural intelligence, storytelling, tech fluency, mediation and strategic thinking. Whether your interests lie in public policy, global business, diplomacy, social enterprise or tech ethics, you’ll graduate with a real-world portfolio; an international network; and the ability to anticipate disruption, engage diverse perspectives and collaborate globally.
