The Doctor of Philosophy (Joint PhD with The University of Bayreuth) is a research intensive program that allows students to develop their own research skills and knowledge. 1. Monash graduate research entry is degree-specific. Doctoral entry normally requires a relevant four-year bachelor degree with a research component at honours H2A level, or a relevant master's with a substantial research component at H2A-equivalent standard. Research master's entry normally uses the corresponding H2B standard of 65 or above. Equivalent research qualifications and demonstrated research capacity may be assessed. 2. Relevant discipline and research component; H2A-equivalent standard for doctoral entry or H2B/65+ for research master's entry; faculty-specific criteria; English proficiency.
