This course is for individuals who are passionate about education, enjoy working with children, and aspire to make a positive impact. In this course, students learn the knowledge and skills necessary to become an effective primary school teacher and develop their teacher identity. Students will gain a strong foundation in education theory and teaching methodologies, as well as practical experience and engagement with schools and communities. This course has a Generalist Primary focus, or a Health and Physical Education focus. Students can also choose a minor study in Early Childhood Education, English, Health and Physical Education, Inclusive Education, STEM, Student Wellbeing, The Arts, The Humanities or Working Multi-lingually. Our graduates possess globally transferable skills to work in an educational context both in Australia and overseas.
