Cultivate sophisticated critical thinking skills alongside specialist knowledge as you design and complete a supervised thesis. Available to high-achieving students, who have completed a Bachelor of Nursing or Master of Nursing (pre-registration), it allows students to investigate an idea that can improve the practice of nursing and the lives of patients and opens the door to future research.

Applications to our Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) are open to applicants who are considered by the University of Sydney Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery to have the requisite knowledge and aptitude to undertake the course. Applicants are expected to have completed their Bachelor of Nursing or Master of Nursing (Pre-Registration) from the University of Sydney or from an equivalent university with a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65. The academic criteria that are displayed are applicable to currently available courses only, and are updated annually in October and may be changed without notice. The Handbooks Online and the University of Sydney Calendar are the official legal source of information relating to study at the University of Sydney, and you are referred to those documents.
