This qualification provides students with the skills & knowledge to design & deliver memorable, dynamic events across a range of sectors including sport, food & wine, music, business & community events. Graduates develop expertise in critical & creative thinking to solve complex problems & implement innovative solutions through specialist event subjects underpinned by core management skills required to operate in this turbulent and competitive industry. Learning moves beyond the classroom through the opportunity to connect with industry through field trips to world-class venues, sports stadiums, hotel conferences & live events. Learning directly from experts and specialists, students experience the application of theory to current practice. Students are able to personalise their learning through a range of event electives such as conference management or undertake electives such as Fundamentals of the Resort and Hotel Industry, Food & Beverage Knowledge or Destination Concepts.
